Terve! Minä olen Endika Garmendia, Baskimaa airsoft pelaaja noob.

If there isn't game this lauantai, I was thinking about CQB training with anyone that likes close quarter combat. Koulutamme mitten tulla huoneeseen, kommunikaatio, friend-fire...

If we go viisi pelaaja on hyvää. We can secure a room and help entering last mates, and then improve how much time do we last.
Another very beatiful task we can do is command using, for example a leader of a small team of viisi pelaaja. We can try standarized hand signals and voice commands.

In the game I really missed team communication. When you are outside, if you know that some rooms of the building are in hands of friends maybe you can go forward safely. This is very easy. 2 minits before the game starts, just arrange a specific and idiot word; like 'maanantai lusikka' and shout it when targeted zone is secured. If it isn't possible to secure it, shout 'tiistai haarukka'!

Nice idea, but..

On normal weekends we get around 100 players for announced games, so that is pretty hefty amount of players to deal with in the first place. To arrange so that even a small group could do "team training" on their own accord, is mabye bit challenging in the downtime between games. We try to minimize the downtime, so that everybody gets to play as much as they want to (so to get enough "bang for their buck") so all out-of-the-normal between game actions are forbidden on the gaming area without permission form admins. Games last as long as they last, and when people stop playing the area is free for any other use like photo ops. Tho if admin tell's you to pack and leave, you should do so. So with admins permission, people can have their after game photo and training sessions.

Okey, there is game for this lauantai, great! I expected it won't be, I needed to play airsoft at any cost.

However is a good idea the post game training session, I really want to make some nice coordination actions. Who are the admin? I will ask them if we can.

Me olemme kaksi nyt, I will update when more persons joint, but I think on lauantai more people would like to join us. 100 people is too much, but 30 is good for a nice CQB strategy. Two sides, each one with a team of 5 and another of 10 for example.

Coordinated manouvers are always encouraged in our games, generally the gamers tend to stick to groups and hang back from heavy contact. These gamers can usually be spotted from others by shorter statue ; )

About half of players on any given day consist of kids under 15yo. Some of them are really good for their size, but some can't really keep up with the older guys. So its a miracle if they can follow any coordination effectively.

We should propably arrange some other day for coordinated training and team tactics, so that people who are genuinely interested in these things can get the most of it without compromising the flow of normal day at the field.

Blue armband, helpoo!

I understand very good that it isn't possible to coordinate with too young players. I have been playing for about 6 years with my first airsoft group, and our coordination is limited to few players. However those players coordinate very good.
I mean, you can have two small groups of viisi pelaaja well organized with a leader in the same side with all those kids disorganized, and it will be much better than anything. The communication between those two leaders is very effective.

I hope we make something like this before I leave Suomi. Also can we make some training of 20 minits at klo 10:00? Before the game rules explanation.

Not possible im afraid. No gaming before briefing, and all admins are busy with traffic control and other administrative work.
